Job role research- ISD

Today during our ISD session with Ash and Sorcha, we researched the big industry to find out what we would like to do int he future. For example some of the categories rethought of was music, TV, radio, commercials, theatre and thinking of subcategories linked to them. From this outcome we had to look into job roles and find out how to gather the skills needed to progress to that role and what the job role is. My job role I took interest to was a 1st and 2nd AD as ive learnt its fitted well to people who are organised- being able to set up a film structure, and plan for the day making sure everyone is on board. I learnt that its a busy job from reading people's experiences online and there is a lot of skills needed: organisation, confidence, teamwork to work with the crew and leadership toward closely with the director. Below is a picture of the notes i made for the Music video industry, children's TV, and a 1st and 2nd Assistant Director.

This has helped me to understand the difference between the two roles and figure out what I want to do int he future.
