Today, I got train tickets to Manchester, to take some photos for my project, mostly the phone box and self initiated project. I took my personal camera- Canon 70D, giving me more experience improving my camera skills and independence to travel and have the motivation to be different getting some amazing pictures!

I was inspired by 2 phone boxes next to each other from my last trip to Manchester, I remember where these were and took some more photos (attached is a map of where they are) from various angles.

To my advantage the sun was out meaning I could capture some good photos with shadows, which is very rare this type of season. I mostly aimed this at people's shadows as the birds moved too quickly in order to capture their shadows and trees were to cliche.

After looking around the city and establishing my self initiated project (lines), I couldn't help but notice lines everywhere, even leading lines to a certain object, or different directions of lines. I then got creative and captured a building with lines, reflected by a mirror. This opened up my eyes to take props out with me as they can become useful and some effort and time can create a great picture.

Here is the location of the phone boxes and a couple of pictures.

In this photo I thought the tunnel/walkway gave an extra effect of filling the negative space, and it felt like the telephone boxes were facing inwards to introduce the tunnel, leading the eye into that point.

In this photo I concentrated on symmetry of the two telephone boxes placed together, but separated by the wall.

This photo captured mirror imagery and reflection of a lined building, the articture stands out as it is what the focus point f the image is.
