My self initiated project- Lines

I realised and learnt that lines are very important in images, they can lead our eye into something we didn't know was even there, or tell a story, even make the image look longer than you think. I researched around certain projects I was thinking of, colours, lines, patterns, however this one stood out because I started to notice it more in daily life. Objects such as the stairs, a floor pattern, a building, someones clothing, and the weather can even show lines and It made me become creative into how I could capture images showing this. I went out from the inspiration and these are some of the images I got.

Overall, I learnt the lines need to show something or lead into something else in the picture or it isn't as effective. Also, it doesn't need to be a specific literal line, these people protesting are stood in a line and used this to the advantage of taking a picture to represent a line.
