The long day in Soho turned out to be amazing! I took some photos mainly strangers and landscapes/cityscapes for my ISD project and spoke to come strangers to give me confidence. I walked around London on my own taking photos and exploring the city, developing my independent skills as well as visiting production houses.
When meeting up at 4pm in the Glassblower Pub we spoke to an English Tv and Film director Stephen Frears, this was a great opportunity to speak to someone who has been successful in the industry- he was very honest and down to earth if he didn't know an answer. From this I learnt to never lie and be honest about yourself, always be yourself and don't loose that through the filming industry.
From making big films such as Philomena, Victoria & Abdul, Florence Foster Jenkins and has won lots of BAFTA awards from this hard work and determination throughout the years.
It was inspirational to hear it from a professional and taking pictures around the city enhanced my learning.
