In December 2018 I filmed a documentary for the company YHA charity, I volunteered to be their videographer for 2 days to capture some amazing moments between families that have come together with their children who have the same rare disability called Myhre syndrome.
This was such an amazing opportunity to catch the special moments with the only 4 families in the UK that have it and experiencing a real connection between children.
The filming process was 2 days with a canon c100, external mics, and tripods, at the YHA host in National Forest and Conkers adventure park. This consisted of following the families around the Christmas winter wonderland and recoding the children taking part in activities capturing smiles and happy times to remember.
I also edited in the YHA offices in Matlock for 2 days with the organiser Joshua Wragg and Jean Kerry who I met on the day. They were very impressed with the footage and how quickly an efficiently I could edit. These 2 days I worked very closely with Joshua as he is normally the videographer for YHA.
In conclusion to this, I got offered to film the London marathon for them in April and edit this too.
